Good Reads

Good Reads is a great website for finding new books to read and organizing your list of books you want to read. That list that we all have - either mentally or on a scrap of paper somewhere. With Good Reads you can have a real list of what you want to read and what you have already read.

Very cool except now I have 124 on my "to read" list. Yikes!

IMO Ricky Hoehne 12/21/57 - 10/24/00

It's hard to believe Rick's been gone for 11 years.

I am now five years older than he was when he died. It doesn't seem possible to be older than my big brother.

The red-tailed hawk has become symbolic of Rick's memory and when I see one I feel as though Rick is with us for that moment. It makes me happier than sad.

I saw a beautiful hawk a couple of days ago, perched on a light pole along the Route 28 on the way home. The traffic was stopped and so I was able to watch him for a while and soak in his beauty and feel Rick in my heart. I like to think that Rick sent him.

I love you Rick and I miss you brother. And I hope that you happy now. Keep the hawks coming.
