Bret Michaels and Rock of Love - My Confession

I really hate to admit this, but I stayed up until midnight watching multiple episodes of the new season of Bret Michaels and Rock of Love Bus on VH1. It was like watching a train wreck - it was horrifying, yet I couldn't look away. Really. I HAD to watch even though I felt embarrassed for those people and cheapened by the whole experience.

The most humiliating part is that I answered my own question - "Who watches this crap?!"

So many concerts. . . not enough money

Summer concert season is upon us and there are (as usual) more concerts than I have the time and money to see.


Wolf Trap (coolest outdoor venue there is) just realized their preview listing of concerts - tickets go on sale Sat. March 28, 2009. Here's my wish list:


Jackson Browne 7/22/09 - I have to go!!! Unbelievably, I have NEVER seen JB in concert. This is on my bucket list (or would be if I had one).


Emmylou Harris, Patty Griffin, Shawn Colvin & Buddy Miller 5/31/09 - Love Patty & Emmylou - this should be good.


Buddy Guy & Susan Tedeschi 6/21/09- here's one for all guitar lovers


Bonnie Raitt & Taj Mahal 8/16/09 - here's one for blues lovers

Happy Birthday Barbie/Bambi!

This week my sister Bambi and Barbie both turn 50. Barbie is actually older by four days, but it would be catty to make a big deal about that.

They both have kept their youthful appearance and girlish figure, although I think Bambi's eyeliner is MUCH better than Barbie's!

I was actually blogging in my sleep the other night. It was a nightmare!

Considering this is only my third post, it's hard to believe that I have all these bloggings (can that be used as a noun?) running around in my head.

Who would have thought this would be so hard? I have so many things I want to write about, but when it's time to commit it seems too long or too short or too much explanation needed to make sense. But who cares right? I'm only blogging to myself!

Daniel Day-Lewis - **SIGH**

I watched "Last of the Mohicans" for the upteenth time this afternoon. Yes, it's a great movie, but the only reason to watch it that many times is to drool over Daniel Day-Lewis.

Daniel Day-Lewis is gorgeous. Daniel Day-Lewis is GORGEOUS!!
